"Somebody Just Checked You Out" is intended to promote interaction among your userbase, in three ways. First, the plug in allows each member to see other members who have viewed their profile. Second, the plug in can optionally email a member whenever their profile is observed. The email contains a link back to the observer's profile, so that the two members know they're looking each other over. The plug is thus perfect for any site intended to introduce users to each other, particularly a dating site. Third, the plug in tracks your own recent views. That way, if a member finds they're interested in someone they've recently observed, that person can be located on their recent views list. The plug in only handles the database stuff necessary to track profile views. One of the Avatar Gallery modules that takes an SQL query is required to display the results. |
